Police-Magistracy Conference was held in Joypurhat.
The conference was held at the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court from Saturday (June 13) morning.
Chief Judicial Magistrate of Joypurhat Mr. Md. Tajul Islam Mia presided over the conference. It discussed in detail the law and order situation in the district, speeding up judicial proceedings and strengthening coordination between police and magistracy.
The meeting was attended by learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Milan Chandra Pal, learned Judicial Magistrate Ms. Atiyara Akhtar, learned Judicial Magistrate Begum Catherine Gomez, learned Judicial Magistrate Md. Nasir Uddin learned Judicial Magistrate, Md. Shahidul Islam General Secretary Joypurhat District Association, TM Mojahid Aziz Additional PP, Sharmin Sultana. Probation Officer Joypurhat, Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mahbub Un Nabi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasmine Nahar and other officials of the judiciary and senior police officers were also present. In the meeting, emphasis was placed on speeding up the disposal of cases, maintaining transparency in the investigation process and working in a coordinated manner to improve the quality of public services.
At the end of the conference, the participants expressed hope that such regular coordination meetings will play an important role in maintaining law and order and making the justice system more effective.
