On Friday (June 12) at 5 pm, a huge joyous and motorcycle procession under the banner of the Argentina supporters group took off from Baramath in Dinajpur Botaganj town. The procession went around the important roads of the city and ended at the Gotraganj Institute grounds.
The supporters who took part in the procession wore Argentina’s blue and white jerseys. National flags, banners and festoons were in hand. Even in the rain, the entire area was filled with chants and cheers of the favorite team. Lively participation of football lovers created a festive atmosphere.
Rashed along with Amrita Faisal Sekander Ali, an Argentina supporter who participated in the procession, said, “I have been a supporter of the Argentina team since childhood. The team’s aesthetic and aggressive play has always impressed me. I hope that this time Argentina will fulfill its dream of winning the Hexa.”
