Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 have arrested a drug dealer while carrying Phensedyl on a motorcycle in Chapainawabganj in a unique way.
A team of RAB-5, Rajshahi, CPC-1, Chapainawabganj Camp conducted a raid in Kalinagar area of Sundarpur Union No. 14 under Sadar Police Station of Chapainawabganj district at around 9:40 am on Monday (October 7, 2025) based on a secret information.
During the raid, Md. Mujibur Rahman (65), father-deceased Alfaz, and Md. Durul Huda (53), father-deceased Erfan Ali, Sang-Joindipur, Police Station-Chapainawabganj Sadar, District-Chapainawabganj were arrested while trying to escape on a motorcycle from the paved road in front of the grocery shop of Md. During this time, a navy-blue bag on the left side of the motorcycle he was using was searched and 24 bottles of Phensedyl, a mobile phone and a motorcycle were recovered.
RAB said that the arrested accused and the recovered evidence have been handed over to Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station for further legal action.
