Mohiuddin Khan, a former student of Hanail Nomania Kamil Madrasa and a student of Joypurhat, has won the AGS post in the Central Students’ Union (DSU) elections of Dhaka University, the best university in the country. A reception and honor ceremony was organized by the madrasa on Tuesday (October 7) morning to celebrate his glorious achievement.
The program, organized in the hall of the madrasa, was presided over by the institution’s principal Muhammad Abdul Hakim, and the program was moderated by Mufti Saidur Rahman.
Magistrate Abdur Rouf, representative of the Joypurhat Deputy Commissioner, was present as the chief guest at the program.
Majlum Janneta Fazlur Rahman Sayeed, a member of the Central Majlish-e-Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Ameer of Joypurhat District Jamaat and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate for the upcoming National Parliament election from Joypurhat-1 (Sadar-Panchbibi) constituency, and District Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Golam Kibria Mandal were present as special guests.
Also present were eminent personalities including teachers and students of various social, political and educational institutions.
The speakers said that this achievement of Mohiuddin Khan is not only his personal success, it is the glory of Joypurhat and Hanail Nomania Kamil Madrasa. Young leaders like him will play an important role in making the future politics of the country honest, just and ideal-based.
At the reception, the speakers called on the young generation to be inspired by good education, morality and patriotism.
At the end, the newly elected AGS Mohiuddin Khan was presented with a crest of honor by the madrasa.
