People will not return home unless the six-point demands, including the legal basis of the July Charter, are implemented – Tajul Islam Hasan

Sylhet Correspondent:

Hafiz Maulana Tajul Islam Hasan, President of Khilafat Majlis Sylhet Metropolitan Branch and Khilafat Majlis-nominated potential MP candidate for Sylhet-1 (Metropolitan and Sadar) constituency, said, “The current interim government has shattered the dream with which we had brought down the dictator at the cost of the lives of 2500 students and the disability of nearly half a million students. The people will not tolerate it anymore. The people want the legal basis of the July Charter.

This can be through a presidential declaration or it can be through a referendum. The PR system must be implemented in the upper house elections of the parliament. Arrangements must be made for elections in the upper house of the parliament using the PR system. The trial of Awami Fascism and their allies must be made visible. The political activities of Awami Fascism and their allies must be suspended.

A level playing field must be created for everyone in the elections and the practice of appointing music teachers on the education platform in a country where 90% of Muslims are living should be withdrawn immediately and arrangements should be made to appoint religious teachers. This is the demand of the common people of Bangladesh. Until this demand is met, a strong movement will be built with the common people, InshaAllah.
