The final match of the Shaheed Zia Memorial Football Tournament was inaugurated on Tuesday (September 16) afternoon at the Sahebganj Adarsh Club ground in Mohanpur Union of Birganj Upazila of Dinajpur.
The final match of the tournament was inaugurated by Bangladesh Nationalist Farmers’ Party Central Committee member, District BNP Vice President and Birganj Upazila BNP President Md. Manjurul Islam.
Upazila BNP Vice President Ferdous Hossain Mondal, Mohanpur Union Chairman Rahman Chowdhury Shahin, Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Shawkat Julius Jewel, Upazila Jubo Dal Senior Joint Convener Md. Abdul Jabbar, along with leaders of Union BNP and its affiliates and affiliated organizations were also present at the time.
A festive atmosphere was created at the playground with the loud presence of local players and sports enthusiasts.
