The 4th anniversary of the Rajshahi Barendra Press Club and its entry into the 5th year were celebrated in a festive atmosphere. On Monday (September 15) morning, the event began with a colorful rally from the Press Club premises in the Shiroil Bus Terminal area. The procession circled the Railgate area and ended at the Press Club premises.
Later, a discussion meeting and prayer meeting were held in the club auditorium. Cake cutting was held at 11 am and lunch was organized at 1 pm.
The speakers at the discussion meeting said that the Rajshahi Barendra Press Club is not just an organization of journalists, it is a symbol of unity of journalists in the northern region. Since its establishment, this club has been playing an important role in protecting the rights of journalists, establishing their dignity and professional development.
The speakers also mentioned that the Rajshahi Barendra Press Club has already been established as an exemplary institution for journalists. Its activities are having a positive impact on the society. They expressed hope that this club will continue to play a leading role in highlighting the voices of the people in the future.
At the time, the speakers called on journalists to maintain professional integrity, ethics and unity and emphasized the importance of everyone working together to make the Press Club the true voice of the people.
Along with the club members, young and senior journalists of Rajshahi participated in the program. The organizers said that the program was completed very successfully with the sincere cooperation and participation of everyone.
