The police have arrested a leader of the Chamardani Union Chhatra League in Madhyanagar Upazila of Sunamganj. The arrested person is said to be the organizing secretary of the Chamardani Union Chhatra League.
He was arrested during a raid in the Balrampur area of Chamardani Union of the upazila on Saturday (January 10) night. The raid was conducted by Madhyanagar Police Station.
The arrested Chhatra League leader is the son of Md. Haresh Mia of Balrampur village of Chamardani Union No. 3 of the upazila. Madhyanagar Police Station further said that the arrested person will be sent to the learned court tomorrow with proper police escort.
