Shaheed Osman Hadi Launch Ghat has been officially inaugurated at Nalchiti in Jhalkathi. Brigadier M Sakhawat Hossain, Naval and Communications Adviser, inaugurated the launch ghat as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Senior officials of the local administration, public representatives, political leaders, representatives of social organizations and common people from all walks of life were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
In his speech, Naval and Communications Adviser Brigadier M Sakhawat Hossain said that martyr Osman Hadi was a symbol of courage, sacrifice and justice. Establishing this launch ghat in his name will inspire the new generation in the path of patriotism and justice.
He also said that with the opening of this launch ghat, the transportation system of the people of Nalchiti and surrounding areas will be easy and the communication system will be improved by sea.
