As part of the Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2 campaign to maintain law and order in Rangpur district, Pirgachha Police have arrested Abdullah Al Mahmud Milon, former chairman of Pirgachha Upazila Parishad and general secretary of Upazila Awami League.
Pirgachha Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhibul Islam Moon said that Abdullah Al Mahmud Milon has been arrested. He has multiple cases against him for attacking the anti-discrimination student-public movement. He will be sent to court after due legal process.
Arrested Abdullah Al Mahmud Milon was the former chairman of Pirgachha Upazila Parishad. He was influential as the general secretary of Upazila Awami League and was known as a confidant and one of the blessings of former Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi.
