With the theme “Indigenous, Modern Technology: Livestock will improve”, the Bholahat Upazila Livestock Department organized a day-long livestock exhibition, rally and discussion meeting on the occasion of the National Livestock Service Week 2025 at the Upazila Parishad premises on Wednesday (26 November 2025) from 10 am.
To celebrate the day appropriately, a colorful rally began at the beginning of the event, followed by a parade around the main roads of the upazila. The chief guest of the event declared the auspicious inauguration of the National Livestock Service Week 2025 at the Upazila Parishad Memorial Ground premises by cutting the ribbon and releasing pigeons. Later, he visited 24 different stalls of the livestock exhibition and joined the discussion meeting.
In collaboration with the Upazila Administration, funded by the Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) Livestock Department, Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Acting Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shamim Hossain were present as the chief guest at various events organized by the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital.
Upazila Livestock Officer Acting Dr. Md. Shahjalal presided over the discussion meeting after visiting the stalls of the livestock exhibition. At this time, Naya Thana Officer-in-Charge Md. Matiur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Sultan Ali, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Nasim Uddin, BMDA Assistant Engineer Md. Lokman Hakim, Agricultural Extension Officer Md. Saidur Rahman were present as special guests.
Among others, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Naima Tabassum Shah, Youth Development Officer Md. Rabiul Islam Kabiraj, Rural Savings Bank Manager Md. Matiur Rahman, Assistant Secondary Education Officer Md. Harun Or Rashid, Information Officer Md. Nasrin Khatun and other upazila administration officials were present.
Out of the 24 exhibition stalls present at the Upazila Livestock Exhibition, the winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd stalls were awarded.
