Milad and Doa Mahfil held in Bholahat to mark Tarique Rahman’s 61st birth anniversary

A Milad and Doa Mahfil was held at Bholahat, Chapainawabganj, on the occasion of the 61st birth anniversary of the Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, Tarique Rahman, on Thursday (November 20, 2025) at 4 pm at BNP’s own office.

Organized by the Upazila BNP and its affiliates, the program was virtually addressed by former MP and Central BNP’s Industry and Commerce Affairs Co-Secretary, Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam Amin, a candidate for the Chapainawabganj-2 constituency in the 13th National Parliament election.

Former Upazila Chairman and Upazila BNP Vice President, one-time strong student leader, strong-voiced, courageous and selfless leader, Professor Md. Anwarul Islam Anwar, were present as special guests at the Milad and Doa Mahfil.

Former Upazila BNP Senior Vice President and former UP Chairman Md. Mahatab Uddin was present in the chair, while former Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Kamal Uddin, Women Vice Chairman Reshmatul Aras Rekha, former UP BNP President and Union Parishad Chairman Md. Afaz Uddin Panu Miah were present.

Also present were former MP’s personal assistant and former General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal, Kaiser Ahmed, District Volunteer Dal Acting President Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizu, former General Secretary of Upazila Jubo Dal, vociferous youth leader Md. Munsur Ali, former Treasurer Md. Lal Dewan, and leaders and activists of Upazila BNP’s associates and organ organizations, and the general public from all walks of life in the upazila.

After the discussion of the program, the Central BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman led the prayers, wishing for his long life and prosperity. Former Upazila Chairman Md. Anwarul Islam Anwar was the special guest of the program.
