Mirza Fakhrul: A group is trying to create division in BNP

Godagari (Rajshahi) Correspondent:

While giving a speech in Godagari, Rajshahi, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that a group is trying to create division within the BNP. The goal of this group is to fulfill their own interests and take advantage of the situation to gain political benefits. At the same time, he also commented that another group is looking for a way to come to power through various schemes.

He said these things to the party leaders and activists after visiting the grave of late BNP leader and former minister Barrister Aminul Haque in Fazilpur, Godagari Upazila on Saturday afternoon. At that time, BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Mizanur Rahman Minu and district and upazila level leaders and activists were present.

Later, he left to join a public meeting in Chapainawabganj. Mirza Fakhrul said,
“One party wants to create division within the BNP. They think that if the BNP is weakened by dividing it, they will benefit. Another party is dreaming of coming to power through various strategies. But we know from the past that democratic change in the country is not possible through any of them.”
He also said,
“It is not possible to maintain the law and order situation in the country through them. That is why the leaders and activists of BNP have to be more aware now. The conspirators have to be identified, and everyone has to be united to keep the party safe.”

During the visit to the grave of late minister Barrister Aminul Haque in Fazilpur, Godagari, Mirza Fakhrul said,
“Aminul Haque was a kind of institution. He taught us what democracy, rights and politics of love for people are. There are very few dedicated politicians like him in today’s Bangladesh.”
He also said that leadership like Barrister Aminul Haque is more relevant in the current political situation. The BNP Secretary General said, “People have faith in nationalist forces. People still consider BNP to be the only force to restore democracy. But some evil forces are involved in various conspiracies to weaken BNP. Everyone must be vigilant to confront them.”
He told the leaders and activists,
“There is no time to look back now. Our goal is to re-establish democracy in the country, return the people’s right to vote and establish a people’s government. For this, it is most important to maintain party unity and discipline.

After visiting the grave and making a short speech, Mirza Fakhrul Chapainawabganj left for Nawabganj. A huge public meeting is scheduled to be held there at the initiative of the district BNP. Local leaders said that the Secretary General’s visit will play an important role in opposing the current government and accelerating the movement.
