Rajarhat Upazila Executive Officer Md. Al Imran inaugurated the distribution of free seeds and chemical fertilizers among small and marginal farmers to increase crop production under the agricultural incentive program for the 25-26 fiscal year.
On Monday (November 3rd) at 11 am, 2400 sows of mustard, wheat, sunflower, peanut, winter onion, mung bean, lentils, khesari and arohar were distributed among small and marginal farmers at the Upazila Agriculture Office warehouse premises. Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Saifunnahar Sathi, Additional Agriculture Officer Haimanti Rani, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Maydul Hasan, Rajarhat Journalist Forum Convener Tarequr Rahman and hundreds of beneficiary farmers and farmers from seven unions were present.
