Keeping in mind the theme of “47 years of glory, tradition, struggle and success”, the Saltha Upazila Youth Dal of Faridpur has organized various programs on the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Dal. Today, Friday (October 31), a day-long program was held to release fish fry, plant trees and distribute food among pedestrians.
At the beginning of the day, the Youth Dal leaders released fish fry of various species in various water bodies of the upazila including Kumardi. Later, as part of the tree planting, fruit and forest trees were planted along various roads of the upazila. Finally, the program ended with the distribution of food and pure water among pedestrians in various markets including Saltha Sadar Bazar.
Presided over by Upazila Youth Dal leader Hasan Ashraf and moderated by Md. Enayet Hossain, Upazila Youth Dal leaders Miran Hossain, Farid Hossain, Khokon Matubbar, Imran Hossain, Jasim Molla, Yasin Molla, Tariqul Islam Layek, Shimul Mia, Mohammad Russell, Mamun Hossain, Kazi Matiur Rahman, Mosharraf Hossain Musa, Belayet Hossain, Kabir Hossain, Md. Mohin Biswas, Sohel Rana, etc. In addition, Upazila Arafat Rahman Khoka Memorial Parliament President Md. Yasin Biswas, Chhatra Dal leader Rezaul Islam Raj and leaders of BNP’s affiliated organizations were present.
At this time, Hasan Ashraf Gadil Hossain, on behalf of the Upazila Jubo Dal, said, “We have held this program under the leadership of BNP’s Central Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid Islam Rinku again. Jubo Dal has always played a leading role in establishing democracy and against injustice, and will play an important role in organizing the youth society in the future to restore democracy in the country.”
