New committee formed for 2 years at Trishal Press Club

A new committee has been formed at the Trishal Press Club in Mymensingh. An 11-member executive council was unanimously formed at the biennial conference of the Trishal Press Club on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) afternoon.

Imran Hasan Bulbul, a representative of Swadesh Pratidin, has been elected as the president of the newly formed committee, and Humayun Kabir Himadri, a representative of Shomiro Alo, has been elected as the general secretary.

Those elected to other positions are— Vice-President Saiful Alam Tuhin (Daily Ajker Patrika), Joint-General Secretary Mominul Islam (Bangladesh Today), Finance Secretary Abu Raihan Sithil (Daily Janakantha),
Sports Secretary Durjoy Islam (Daily Janabani), Publicity and Publication Secretary Jimmanul Anwar (Bangladesh Bulletin).

Rasheduzzaman Roni (Bhorer Kagoj), Fahad Bin Saeed (Daily Ajker Patrika), Fahim Mondal (Daily Ittehad), and Mashiur Rahman Rajib (Daily Prekshapat) were elected as executive members.

After the election results were announced, the members of the press club greeted and congratulated the newly elected committee leaders. The guests expressed their hope that the new leadership would enrich the Trishal Press Club with more dynamic and professional journalism.
