A private clinic owner misbehaved with a doctor at Sarail Upazila Health Complex in Brahmanbaria. On Tuesday morning, around 11:30 am, resident doctor Dr. Kamrul Hasan was seeing regular patients at Sarail Upazila Health Complex. At that time, Shihab, the son of the owner of a private hospital, Ananda Medical, came to the hospital with some thugs and found Dr. Kamrul Hasan, abusing and shouting at him.
At that time, Shihab started searching in different rooms to beat up Dr. Kamrul Hasan. Realizing the matter, Dr. Kamrul Hasan went up to the 2nd floor and entered a room and closed the door in self-defense. Later, the crowd present returned Shihab. Shihab is the son of the owner of a private clinic called Sarail Ananda Medical Hall. Shihab himself looks after this clinic.
In this regard, Dr. Kamrul Hasan, along with eyewitnesses, said, Shihab, along with some terrorists, started searching for me in different rooms of the hospital with the intention of attacking me and announced to beat me up. A few days ago, the Executive Magistrate sentenced a broker. Since the convicted person was an Anand Medical broker, they were angry with me and caused today’s incident.
Sarail Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Nizam Uddin said, I heard about this incident from outsiders from the RMO. I will inform the higher authorities in writing to take administrative action. Also, you know that brokers are coming and going in this hospital. A mobile team is working under the leadership of the UNO to catch the broker. There has been a misunderstanding about this.
Actually, the mobile court is an ongoing process to catch the brokers and it will always be ongoing. When I called Shihab’s mobile phone several times to inquire about this, Shihab is not picking up the phone.
