A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a passenger bus in Chuadanga. Two other riders are undergoing treatment at the hospital with serious injuries in the incident.
This horrific road accident occurred in front of the Jafarpur BGB camp in Sadar Upazila at around 12:30 today.
According to local sources, a speeding passenger bus hit the motorcycle in front of the BGB camp. The severity of the accident was such that the bus lost control and crashed into the hospital wall.
One of the motorcycle riders died on the spot. The other two were quickly rescued and taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital in serious injuries. Their condition is said to be critical.
Dr. Robin, Medical Officer of Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, said, “Some of them have been brought to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital in critical condition. Some of them have suffered serious head injuries.” He said that maximum efforts are currently being made to save the lives of the injured.
As soon as the news of this tragic accident spread, a shadow of mourning fell over the entire area.
