“Eggs contain protein, should be eaten daily” – World Egg Day-2025 was celebrated in Kurigram with various events, with the slogan “Eggs contain protein, should be eaten daily”.
A colorful rally was organized by the District Livestock Department on Friday to mark the occasion. The rally concluded with a discussion meeting after circumambulating the office premises of the District Livestock Department.
The chief guest at the discussion meeting held at the conference room of the District Livestock Department was District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman. In his speech, he discussed in detail the nutritional value of eggs and the importance of including eggs in the daily diet.
Deputy Director of the District Artificial Insemination Center Abdul Aziz Pradhan, President of Kurigram Sadar Poultry Association Liakat Ali Litu and President of Kurigram Sadar Dairy Association Nazmul Haque Nayan were present as special guests at the event.
More than a hundred poultry farm entrepreneurs were present at the event, moderated by Sadar Upazila Livestock Extension Officer Dr. Sujan Chandra Barman.
