Humayun Kabir accused of extorting money from multiple people in Sreepur
Serious allegations have been made against a person named Humayun Kabir in Sreepur, Gazipur, of fraud, use of fake identity and forgery of national identity card information under the guise of poetry. It is alleged that he is also known locally as ‘Sufi Guru Hossain’.
According to the information and allegations received, the person has taken various amounts of money from multiple people by promising treatment for various diseases, amulets and various types of poetry services. Efforts have been made to get more information in this regard by contacting some of the victims. They allege that after taking the money, time has been wasted on various pretexts without providing the promised services.
The most serious aspect of the allegations is the allegation of inconsistency and forgery of the identity and information of the national identity card. It is known that some documents and information in this regard are in the hands of the concerned. However, it is important to verify the authenticity of these documents through the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, when contacted to inquire about Humayun Kabir’s statement regarding the complaint as a journalist, he allegedly abused him in obscene and offensive language. It is also known that a WhatsApp screenshot of the conversation in this regard has been preserved.
Locals allege that the person has been taking advantage of the simplicity of the common people for a long time in the name of Kabiraji treatment. It is alleged that there have been incidents of taking money from the same person multiple times.
