The day was celebrated with various colorful events in Shalikha Upazila of Magura on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
On Tuesday (September 1, 2026) morning, the day-long program began with the hoisting of the national and party flags at the Shalikha Upazila BNP party office. After the flag hoisting, a discussion meeting and special prayer mahfil were held at the office.
As part of the program, a colorful procession was taken out from in front of the party’s head office at Arpara Bazar Stand at 4 pm on the same day. The procession circled various important roads of Arpara Bazar.
Magura district BNP member Moniruzzaman Choklet, Shalikha Upazila BNP Jubo Dal leader Nayanuzzaman Nayan Munshi, BNP leader Mozaffar Hossain Tuku, BNP leader Kaizar Hossain and Mohila Dal leader Runa Salam were present at the event.
A large number of leaders, activists and supporters of Shalikha Upazila, Union and various ward level BNP and its affiliate organizations participated in this procession and program.
