A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj on Tuesday (September 1, 2026) at 4:30 pm at their own office Sanyasitala-Medicalmore.
Former Member of Parliament-44 Chapainawabganj-2 and Co-Secretary of Industry and Commerce Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam Amin were present as the chief guest at the rally leadership and discussion meeting on the founding anniversary.
The discussion meeting was attended as special guests by former Upazila BNP Vice President and former Upazila Chairman: Professor Md. Anwarul Islam Anwar, former Upazila Women Vice Chairman Reshmatul Aras Rekha, former UP Chairman Md. Afaz Uddin Panu Miah, Md. Abdul Quader, Contractor Md. Alauddin,
Former Upazila Jubo Dal President Md. Belal Uddin, General Secretary Md. Munsur Ali.
A large number of leaders and activists of Upazila BNP and its affiliates participated in the celebration of the founding anniversary under the leadership of former Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Arafat Hossain Sunny. A colorful rally was taken out after the discussion meeting. The rally circled the main roads of the area and ended in front of the party office.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila BNP Senior Vice President and former UP Chairman Md. Mahatab Uddin,
the speakers at the meeting called on the leaders and activists to remain united in restoring democracy and building the country by embracing the ideals of the party’s founder, martyred President Ziaur Rahman.
Among others, Upazila Jubo Dal’s Munsur Ali, Lal Dewan and leaders and activists of various levels were present at the time.
At the end of the discussion meeting, the party’s founder, martyred President Ziaur Rahman and the late former Prime Minister, Begum Khaleda Zia were prayed for forgiveness and the good health of the current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the welfare of the country and the nation were prayed for.
At the end of the discussion meeting, a colorful rally was held on the 48th founding anniversary under the leadership of the chief guest Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam Amin. Later, he planted a sapling each in the Upazila BNP office ground and in the premises of Mohabullah College.
