Various monthly meetings including the Upazila Law and Order Committee organized by the Upazila Administration were held in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj. The meeting was held on Monday (August 31, 2026) at 10 am in the Upazila Model Mosque Conference Room.
The meeting, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nahid Hossain, was attended by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Sanaul Morshed, Bholahat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abdul Barik, newly appointed Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Sultan Ali, Upazila Engineer (LGED) Md. Abu Sayeed, Upazila BMDA Engineer Md. Lokman Hakim, Youth Development Officer Md. Rabiul Islam Kabiraj, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Ibrahim Khalilullah, Social Service Officer Md. Nasim Uddin, RDO Md. Sabuj Ali, Union Parishad Chairmen Alhaj Md. Peer Jahan, Md. Yasin Ali Shah, Alhaj Md. Mozammel Haque Chutu and Md. Afaz Uddin Panu Miah, among others.
In addition, BGB JK Polladanga Company Commander Md. Mahbub Alam, Chanshikari BGB Company Commander Md. Idris Ali and Fire Service Incharge Mr. Kushna Talapatra along with heads of various educational institutions and officials of government and private departments were present.
The meeting discussed in detail the law and order situation of the upazila, healthcare, education, agriculture and overall development activities of the upazila. The speakers called upon all concerned to work in a coordinated manner to make the development activities of the upazila more dynamic and people-friendly.
