A young man named Imran Hossain (24) died after being hit by a train while listening to music on earphones on the railway line in Ishwardi, Pabna. The incident took place on Friday (October 3) at around 8:30 am in the Bhabanipur area of ​​the Ishwardi-Pabna railway route of the upazila.

Locals said that Imran took day laborers to work on the agricultural land next to the railway line in the morning. Imran was listening to music on earphones on the railway line during his work. At that time, he was hit by the Rajshahi-bound Dhalarchar Express train from Pabna's Dhalarchar and died on the spot.

The deceased's maternal uncle Habibur Rahman said that Imran was the only child of his parents. He passed his master's degree from Pabna Edward College last year.

Ishwardi Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ziaur Rahman said that police were sent to the spot after receiving the information.
