As part of the nationwide Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025, the program was officially inaugurated in Bhurungamari Upazila.
This program was inaugurated at Joymonirhat Government Primary School in the upazila on Sunday (October 12) morning.
Mr. Deep Jan Mitra, the Upazila Executive Officer of Bhurungamari Upazila, was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abu Sajjad Mohammad Sayem, Upazila Primary Education Officer, Headmaster of Joymonirhat Government Primary School Mrs. Badre Jahan, HI in-charge, MTEPI, statistician, responsible AHI, HA, Scouts members, teachers and students were present as special guests.
The speakers at the ceremony said that this vaccination campaign will play a very important role in preventing typhoid. They called on parents and all concerned to cooperate in bringing all children of the specified age under vaccination.
