Kachua (Chandpur) Representative:
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Assistant Secretary General A. T. M. Masum said that to ensure stable democracy and fair representation in the country, the next national election must be held under the 'PR (Proportional Representation)' system. He said this as the chief guest at the Rukon conference organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Chandpur District on Saturday, October 18 at 10 am.
He said that the real opinion of the people is not reflected in the parliament in the current election system. Therefore, the introduction of the PR system is the demand of the hour to create a fair and participatory political environment.

In this, all political parties, big and small, will get seats in the parliament according to their popularity, which will further strengthen democracy.
He called on the people and political circles of the country to raise their voices in one voice demanding a democratic and fair electoral system.
