A month-long “Muallim Training Course” was inaugurated in Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat with the aim of expanding Quran education in an easy way and creating skilled Muallim (teachers).

This training course was officially inaugurated at Panchbibi Upazila Model Mosque and Cultural Center today, Thursday (October 9) at 8 am. The program was presided over by Md. Abu Raihan, President of Panchbibi Upazila Branch of Talimul Quran Foundation.
Md. Fazlur Rahman Sayeed, Chief Advisor of Joypurhat Talimul Quran Foundation and Jamaat-e-Islami nominated MP candidate for the upcoming National Parliament election from Joypurhat-1 constituency, oppressed public leader, was present as the chief guest at the program.
In his speech, the chief guest said – learning and teaching the Holy Quran is the most noble work. To awaken Islamic consciousness in the society, the light of the Quran must be brought to every home. For this, it is necessary to create qualified teachers. This initiative of the Talimul Quran Foundation is timely and commendable.
Md. Abu Sufian Muktar, advisor of the Panchbibi Upazila of the Foundation and a prominent journalist, spoke as a special guest. He said that Quran education is the main basis for building human character. Those who are participating in this training will, InshaAllah, deliver the true message of Islamic education to the society in the future.
Also speaking at the program were eminent scholars Maulana Abdus Salam, Md. Altaf Hossain Master, Maulana Shamsul Alam Master, Khatib Hafez Maulana Borhan Uddin of the Upazila Model Mosque, advisor of the Municipal Branch Md. Abul Bashar, Golam Rabbani and trainer Hafez Maulana Md. Ihaiya, among others.
The speakers said in their speeches that the role of Talimul Quran Foundation in making Quran education easy and interesting is unique. Through this training, teachers will become skilled in imparting Quran education and will play an important role in establishing Islamic values in the society.
