The police have finally arrested Rizzakul Rahman Raju, the organizing secretary of Shibganj Upazila Awami League in Bogra. He was arrested from the Ashulia area of the capital last night.
It is learned that the local police had arrested Raju earlier. However, after the arrest, his relatives snatched him from the police. At that time, he was handcuffed. Later, he fled with the handcuffs.
Since the incident, the police have been busy finding Raju’s whereabouts. Finally, the law enforcement agencies were able to arrest him from Ashulia, Dhaka, based on secret information.
