"The transformation of the education system begins with the hands of teachers" World Teachers' Day was celebrated in Tetulia, Panchagarh. On this occasion, a rally of teachers started from Tetulia Tala Chowrasta Bazar on Sunday (October 5) morning and circled the Chowrasta Bazar along the Tetulia Banglabandha Highway. More than a thousand teachers of Tetulia participated in the rally.
A discussion meeting was held after the rally. Tetulia Upazila Branch Teachers' Association President Mahuri Hat VP High School Principal Harur Aab Rashid presided over the discussion, with Tetulia Assistant Commissioner (Land) MA Akash as the chief guest, Bhajanpur School Principal Md. Maqbular Rahman, Fakir Para High School Principal Azizul Haque, Ronchandi High School Principal Md. Idris Ali, Tetulia Upazila Branch Teachers' Association General Secretary Md. Faruk Hossain, Mathafata School Principal Abdul Karim, Bura-Buri High School Teacher Azizul Haque, Boal Mari High School Principal Rezaul Karim, Kazi Shahabuddin Girls' High School Principal Emdadul Haque, Tetulia Degree College Teacher Kazirul Islam and other teacher leaders participating in the discussion.
The speakers said that education is the backbone of the nation and teachers are the craftsmen of nation building. Teachers play an important role in building ideal people and a prosperous nation.
