The Facebook ID of Rangamati University of Science and Technology (RUST) Chhatra Dal convener Nasir Uddin Arnab has been disabled due to a cyber attack.
He said that the ID has not been available since Saturday (November 22) night. Meanwhile, the RABPRIB branch of Chhatra Dal has issued a press release alleging a planned cyber attack in this regard.
The press release signed by the department’s in-charge Sharif Uddin further said that such a planned cyber attack targeting Nasir Uddin Arnab’s ID through social media is by no means a normal occurrence. This is clearly an attempt by evil circles, through which an attempt is being made to obstruct democratic rights and disrupt the organizational activities of Chhatra Dal.
Nasir Uddin Arnab said that the process of restoring the ID has already begun and he hopes that his ID will be reactivated soon.
He further said, “No unwanted attempt will be able to stop our democratic struggle and organizational activities. We will remain steadfast as before in our fight for truth, justice and freedom of expression.”
