Quran recitation and prayer mahfil were held to seek the forgiveness of the soul of the mother of the country. On Thursday afternoon, the Boali Union BNP and its affiliated organizations organized a Quran recitation and prayer mahfil to seek the forgiveness of the death of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP Chairperson and former three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at the Nalua Bazar Mosque ground in Kaliakair Upazila, Gazipur District.
Present were Md. Majibur Rahman, convener of Kaliakair Upazila Jassas, Md. Majid Mondal, senior vice-president of Bowali Union Matsyajibi Dal, Md. Nazrul Islam, former freedom fighter affairs secretary of Bowali Union BNP, Md. Sharif Mahmud, former general secretary of Bowali Union Jubo Dal, BNP leader, Shahidul Islam Sumon, joint convener of Kaliakair Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal, Ashraful Mondal, youth leader Rana Hamid and leaders of BNP affiliate organizations.
