Protest and condemnation of the harassment case filed against three journalists, including the general secretary of Sreepur Press Club in Gazipur. Journalist leaders have protested against the false cases being filed against Sreepur Press Club General Secretary Tipu Sultan, Joint Secretary General Ashraful Alam Sarkar, and Office Secretary Farhad Alam without any investigation.
Gazipur District Journalists Oikya Parishad President Abul Kashem, General Secretary Rafiqul Islam, and Sreepur Press Club President Abdul Malek have protested and condemned the harassment case filed against the three journalists. They have also demanded that the three journalists not be harassed by the police and that they be immediately released from the case.
It is worth noting that an unpleasant incident took place at the Sreepur Sub-Registry Office regarding the land registry of a person named Shahabuddin. At that time, the three journalists went to the Sub-Registry Office to collect news. Later, at the instigation of a group, Shahabuddin’s daughter filed a case against 14 people, including the three journalists, at Sreepur Police Station on October 30.
