Property worth around Tk 10 crores of the Hemayetpur Bara Mosque, which had been lying idle for a long time, has recently been recovered. This initiative has been implemented in collaboration with the Hemayetpur Bara Mosque Committee and local dignitaries.
Former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia’s advisor Aman Ullah Aman, who has long been known for standing by the people of the area in difficult times, has played an important role in the property recovery process. Also, one of the effective participants in this initiative was Advocate Mehedi Hasan, the worthy successor of the late Shahjahan Bepari, the judge of Hemayetpur, and the vice-president of Tentuljhora Union BNP.
After the recovery of the property under the leadership of Advocate Mehedi Hasan, complete possession of the land will be ensured by constructing a boundary wall very quickly as planned. It is expected that this initiative will protect the property of the mosque and ensure the welfare of the community.
Locals said that they are very impressed with such fair and social work of Advocate Mehedi Hasan. Local elders are praising his honesty, leadership and honest initiatives. The dignitaries of the area have expressed hope that such activities will further strengthen the trust and love of the local people.
