Primary Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam January

The Department of Primary Education (DPE) has announced the final schedule and date for collecting admit cards for the written examination of ‘Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2025’ in government primary schools. This recruitment examination will be held in the respective districts of applicants from all over the country on January 2, 2026 (Friday). Unprecedented security and strict restrictions have been imposed this time to ensure smooth completion of this huge task of more than 10 lakh candidates.

According to the announcement of the department, this one and a half hour written examination will be held on Friday, January 2 from 10 am to 11:30 am. For the convenience of the candidates, examination centers have been arranged in their respective districts. A total of 10,80,080 candidates have applied for this recruitment against 14,385 vacant posts. Accordingly, about 75 candidates will fight for each post.

The process of downloading the admit card for the examination has started today, December 27 at 10 am. Candidates can collect their admit cards from the website admit.dpe.gov.bd. There are two easy ways to collect the admit card:

  1. Using the user ID and password of the application form.
  2. Or by logging in with the candidate’s SSC roll, board and year of pass.

It is to be noted that all eligible candidates are also being informed about the matter through SMS on their registered mobile number.
Strict instructions to be followed at the examination center:

To keep the recruitment process transparent and fraud-free, the Department of Primary Education has issued several ‘vital’ instructions:

Keeping ears open is mandatory: To prevent digital fraud or small electronic devices in the examination, candidates will have to keep both ears open. The room inspector and security staff will check their ears using a flashlight if necessary. Colored admit card and identity card: To participate in the examination, it is necessary to bring a colored print copy of the admit card and the candidate’s original National Identity Card (NID/Smart Card).

Entry time at the center: Candidates will have to enter the center by 9:00 AM. All entrances to the center will be closed at 9:30 am. After that, no one will be allowed to enter. Restrictions and Security: Section 144 will be imposed in the centers during the examination. List of prohibited items and disciplinary measures, no electronic devices or watches will be allowed in the examination center.

The list of prohibited items includes:
All types of mobile phones, calculators, smart or analog watches. Earphones, Bluetooth devices or any type of transmitting devices. Vanity bags, purses or ladies’ handbags.

Warning: If any candidate is found with these prohibited items, he will be immediately expelled. At the same time, he will be declared ineligible to apply for government jobs in the future and strict legal action will be taken against him.

A senior official of the Department of Primary Education said, “We are determined to ensure a merit-based and transparent recruitment process. The candidates are specifically requested to cooperate fully and follow the instructions properly.”
