At Dhamirhat border in Naogaon, 1 person was arrested along with a large quantity of Indian drugs. On 01 November (Saturday) at 0300 hours, a special patrol team under the leadership of Bastabar BOP Patrol Commander Naik Md. Ershad Ali conducted a raid in Ramchandrapur area and arrested 01 smugglers with 60 pieces of Indian narcotic tapentadol tablets and 01 mobile phones.
Md. Kurban Ali (25), father-deceased A. Sattar, Village+Post+Agradvigun, Thana-Dhamirhat, District-Naogaon was arrested. After filing a case against the detained accused at Dhamirhat Police Station, the goods were handed over to the police (Case No-01, dated 01/11/25).
Commander, Patnitala Battalion Lt. Col. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, PBGM, PBGMS has pledged to continue all-out operations against cattle/drug smuggling/illegal border crossing and smuggling at Naogaon and Jaipurhat border.
