Haripur (Thakurgaon) Correspondent:
Super Mamunur Rashid has been accused of secretly forming a managing committee in Khamar Eidgah Dimbukhi Dakhil Madrasa in Haripur Upazila of Thakurgaon, ignoring the instructions of the Education Board. The allegation is that an influential group including the Super, Upazila Secondary Education Officer and Presiding Officer Raihanul Islam Mia are trying to form a pocket committee in a planned manner. When the matter came to light, there was intense anger among teachers, students and guardians.
Protesting the incident and demanding the formation of a new committee through legal elections along with an investigation into irregularities, 12 guardians including UP member Almas Ali submitted a written complaint to the Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) and Secondary Education Officer's office on Tuesday (December 2).
According to the complaint source, even after being given the responsibility of forming the managing committee, Presiding Officer Raihanul Islam secretly proceeded with the process of forming the committee with the relatives of the Superintendent without announcing the schedule. The guardians reacted angrily fearing that they would be deprived.

Guardian representative Almas Ali said, “We do not accept this in any way. The committee must be formed through elections by announcing the schedule in accordance with the rules.”
When asked about this, Madrasa Superintendent Mamunur Rashid said, “I cannot say anything about this, I will talk to the chairman of the ad hoc committee.” Ad hoc committee chairman Alamgir Hossain denied the allegations and said, “Everything that is being said is false and baseless.”
Presiding Officer and Secondary Education Officer Raihanul Islam said, “We have received the complaint, we will investigate and take necessary action.”
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Raihanul Islam said, “A complaint has been given to me. The matter will be investigated after discussing it with the staff and appropriate action will be taken.”
