The Santhia Samity in Pabna has felicitated the meritorious students of Santhia who secured A-plus in the 2025 SSC and Dakhil examinations. The guests presented honorary crests and gifts to more than a hundred students at the event organized at the Santhia Upazila Parishad Hall Room at 11 am on Saturday.
The event was presided over by Mostafa Zaman Shamim, President of Santhia Samity in Pabna and Proprietor of Kimia Clinic, and moderated by Dr. Mansur Alam, Government Professor of Santhia Women's Degree College, and Rabiul Karim, Joint General Secretary. Talebur Rahman, General Secretary of the organization, delivered the welcome speech.

Santhia Upazila Executive Officer Riju Tamanna was present as the chief guest at the reception. Pabna District Education Officer Abdur Razzak, Santhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Anisur Rahman, among others, spoke, Santhia Development Council President Mir Nazmul Bari Nahid, former Santhia Press Club President Zainul Abedin Rana, Pabna George Court Additional PP Advocate Monowar Zahid, organization's vice-president Firoz Hossain, former general secretary of Santhia Press Club
Assistant Professor Abdul Hai, Nariagodai High School Headmaster Abdul Hannan, and Fatema Khatun Promakh expressed their feelings among the students.
Santhia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Riju Tamanna, while describing her experience, said, "We have to get out of this misconception that everyone has to study science. I did not study science. I was a humanities student. I am in a good place even without studying science." So you should study the subject that you like, not the subject. Pabna District Education Officer said, students should develop as moral, idealistic and patriotic citizens.

He also said, getting A+ is not your final success. There is still a long way to go. If you cannot get admission in university and do something good in life, this A-plus will not be valued. Along with your talent, acquire moral and human qualities.
The president announced that 4 people from this organization and 8 from the Chemistry Specialist Center will be given foundation for a total of 12 people for two years.
