The inaugural ceremony of the orientation class of the HSC first year students of "Kapasia Model School and College" has been completed at the modern building located in the Kapasia Upazila headquarters of Gazipur. The orientation class was organized by the Kapasia Model School and College Education Family on Monday afternoon, September 15.

On the occasion of the orientation, a discussion meeting was held in the auditorium of the college at the inaugural ceremony of the orientation class. It was presided over by the principal of the college, Russell Sarkar. Under the guidance of the college in-charge lecturer Imran Hossain and treasurer and director Ruman, Kapasia Upazila Secondary Education Officer Arif Sarkar delivered a speech of advice and guidance to the students as the chief guest.

The founder of Kapasia Model School and College, Arif Pathan, presented a speech of guidance on the goals and objectives of establishing the college. Saiful Islam Shahin, general secretary of the Kapasia Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee and prominent journalist, spoke as a special guest.

Among others, prominent educationist Narsingdi National College Director Forkan Mia, retired teachers Qutubuddin and Abdus Samad Sarkar spoke. The welcoming speech was delivered by the guardian representative of Kapasia Model School and College, the newly elected senior executive member of the executive committee of Gazipur District Journalists Unity Council and Kapasia representative of Daily Rupali Bangladesh, Belayet Hossain Shamim.

Finally, the program ended with the performance of a pleasant cultural program with the participation of the freshmen of the college.
