An open library named "Kathamala Library" was inaugurated on Saturday afternoon at the Gazipur High School ground of Karpara Union in Ramganj, Lakshmipur by the initiative of Jubo Foundation.
Presided over by Kamal Uddin, retired Secretary of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Former MP Principal of Lakshmipur-1 Ramganj parliamentary constituency Anam Shamsul Islam spoke as the chief guest. Moderated by Md. Zahirul Islam, Senior Vice President of the Foundation,

Professor Dr. Bijoy Krishna Das, BLDP Chairman Shahadat Hossain Selim, freedom fighter Tofail Ahmed, lecturer Mizanur Rahman, distinguished social worker Zakir Hossain Chowdhury,
President of Jubo Foundation and founder of Kathamala Library Muhammad Ismail Gazi and many others spoke as special guests.
A drawing competition was held among children and teenagers on the occasion of the inauguration of the open library. From play to tenth grade More than 200 students from 50 educational institutions participated in the drawing competition.
A total of 20 students from 4 groups were awarded certificates and honor crests.
Founder of Kathamala Library, Md. Ismail Gazi, said that we have undertaken various programs. He said that we will work with emphasis on education and health.
