Dhaka Correspondent:
Facebook is no longer just a social media platform—it has become one of the main sources of income for millions of content creators. But recently, many creators have been complaining that the reach of their video, reel, or photo posts is decreasing, followers are not increasing, and they are not getting monetization benefits.
According to experts, one of the reasons for this is that an important setting is not turned on on the profile or page. If this setting called “Profile Transparency” is turned on, Facebook can reach a user’s content to a wider audience, which directly increases reach and engagement.
How to turn on the setting:
1. First, open the Facebook app and enter your profile.
2. Scroll down and open the About section.
3. There you will find an option called Profile Transparency — click on it.
4. Then go to Go to Ad Library.
5. You will see the System Status option at the bottom of the new page; all reports here should have “Green Tick”.
6. Select your country from the All and All Ads options above and click “Apply”.
After completing this process, Facebook will give your profile and content more priority in its recommendation system, which will significantly increase the chances of reach and monetization.
Why this is important:
Currently, Facebook's monetization program is in the 'invite-only' and 'waitlist' stages. Facebook has said that they will bring more content creators under revenue by December. Therefore, experts recommend optimizing the profile and uploading content regularly from now on.
If a creator regularly publishes videos, reels and photos and keeps the necessary settings on, then the reach of his content will increase and the chances of getting monetization will also increase many times.
