In protest against the attack on teachers and employees of the Nationalization of Private Educational Institutions Alliance for Nationalization, MPO-affiliated teachers and employees have left their classrooms empty and formed a human chain on the highway in Kalai, Joypurhat, in protest against the attack on teachers and employees of the Nationalization of Private Educational Institutions Alliance for Nationalization.
On Tuesday (October 14), at 11 am, the Nationalization of Private Schools, Colleges, Madrasas and Technical Teachers and Employees Association for Nationalization organized a human chain on the Joypurhat-Mokamtala regional highway in the presence of teachers and employees.
Teachers and employees of various private educational institutions in the upazila came together and observed a human chain program for about an hour.

Acting Principal of Kalai Degree College Nurul Islam, Superintendent of Thupesara Selimia Dakhil Madrasa Matiyor Rahman, Principal of Molamgarihat Girls High School Mosaddek Hossain, Assistant Professor of Hatiyor Kamil Madrasa Shamim Reza, Principal of Kalai Women’s BM College Abdul Karim and many others spoke at the human chain.
Maulana Selim Reza, Assistant Professor of Arabic Department of Hatiyor Kamil Madrasa, expressed his anger and said, “Those who lathi-charged during our peaceful program are also students of some teacher. Today it seems that our own students are torturing us.”
Superintendent of Thupesara Selimia Dakhil Madrasa Matiyor Rahman said, “The police attacked teachers during a peaceful program in Dhaka—this incident is shameful for the nation.” Those who threw tear gas shells, used batons and water cannons on teachers should be given exemplary punishment.
Later, after the human chain, the teachers went to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer’s office and submitted a memorandum.
