On Thursday (September 25) afternoon, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Zakia Sarwar Lima led a mobile court operation at Kaliganj New Modern Hospital located at the Old Bank intersection in Kaliganj Municipality.

At that time, a fine of 30 thousand taka was collected in a case against the hospital director Banya Akhter under the Medical Practice, Private Clinics and Laboratories (Regulation) Ordinance and the Consumer Rights Protection Act due to the non-renewal of the hospital's license, lack of necessary manpower, and unsanitary conditions.

At that time, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Prosecutor Dr. Rezwana Rashid, Bench Assistant Mahbubul Islam, Sanitary Inspector Dev Prasad Mitra and police were present.
