On 20 September 2025, every Saturday at 2 pm, Shaheed Dr. Abul Kashem Maidan, Maoist: Md. Nazmul Hasan Mahmud, Maoist: Md. Abdul Wadud, chaired by the Andolon Bangladesh Joypurhat District Branch, organized a mass meeting.

Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim Qasemi, Shaykh Charmonai were present as the chief guests in the said mass meeting, while Allama Abdul Haque, Nayeb Amir, and leaders of Islami Andolon Bangladesh of Joypurhat district were present as special guests. Journalists were present at that time. The chief guest said that he demanded that the election be held using the PR method. He also said that if the election is held using the PR method, there will be no possibility of vote theft, vote wasting, etc.

After the mass gathering, a prayer meeting was held after Maghrib.
