The Majlish-e-Shura of Khilafat Majlis Gowainghat Upazila Lengura Union Branch has been held. The Majlish-e-Shura was held at Gurkachi Bazar in the Union on Tuesday (September 16) at 6:30 pm.
Maulana Delwar Hossain, Deputy General Secretary of Khilafat Majlis Gowainghat Upazila Branch, was present as the Election Commissioner and conducted the election. Based on the advice of the Shura members, Maulana Nazim Uddin was elected as the President for the upcoming 2025-26 session and Maulana Shahed Ahmed was nominated as the General Secretary.
Other elected officials for the 2025-26 session are: Vice President Maulana Nurul Amin, Maulana Shamsul Haque, Maulana Moin Uddin, Maulana Abdur Rob, Hafiz Mushahid Ali, Deputy General Secretary Junaid Ahmed Junaid, Organizing Secretary Maulana Alkas Uddin, Deputy Organizing Secretary Ayat Ullah, Baitulmal Secretary Maulana Bilal Uddin, Publicity Secretary Maulana Delwar Hossain, Office Secretary Zisan Ahmed, Social Welfare Secretary Tajammul Ali, Executive Members Zamir Uddin, Hafiz Kamrul Islam, Suhel Ahmed, Hafiz Abdus Shukur, Expatriate Members Yahya Rubel, Rezwan Ahmed, Nasir Uddin.
After the scheduled activities, the closing session was attended by the chief guest, Maulana Delwar Hossain, Deputy General Secretary of the Khelafat Majlis Gowainghat Upazila branch, Maulana Abdur Razzak, Deputy General Secretary of the Gowainghat Upazila branch, Hafiz Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary of the Gowainghat Upazila branch of the organization, and Maulana Akhlaq Hossain, President of the Islami Jubo Majlis Gowainghat Upazila branch, as special guests.
