A prayer mahfil was held in Joypurhat to pray for the eternal peace of the soul of Begum Khaleda Zia, the 3-time Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Chairperson of the BNP. The prayer mahfil was held at the district BNP party office on Tuesday evening under the initiative of the Jatiyatabadi Rickshaw Van Auto Driver Party Joypurhat branch. District BNP convener Golzar Hossain was present as the chief guest.
Also present at the time were city BNP president Aminur Rahman Bakul, Joypurhat Judge Court GP Adv. Salamat Ali, PP Shahnur Rahman Shahin, Jatiyatabadi Rickshaw Van Auto Driver Party district branch convener Hasan Ali, senior joint convener Abu Sayeed, joint convener Newaz Morshed Noman and Mahbubul Alam Ukil, and leaders of the organization. The prayer was led by Maulana Lokman Hossain, convener of the Ulama Party. Tabarak was distributed at the end.
