A meeting was held with teachers to improve the quality of secondary and higher secondary education in Tanore, Rajshahi. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday (October 23) afternoon.
Muhammad Muniruzzaman Bhuiyan, Joint Secretary of the Technical and Madrasa Education Department of the Ministry of Education, was present as the chief guest and gave a directional speech on improving the quality of education. Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) and Upazila Parishad Administrator Naima Khan presided over the meeting.
Under the leadership of Upazila Secondary Education Officer Siddiqur Rahman, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shiv Shankar Basak, Upazila Agriculture Officer Saifullah Ahmed, Livestock Officer Dr. Wazed Ali, Fisheries Officer Saju Chowdhury and many others.
In addition to the teachers of secondary, college and Dakhil Madrasas of the upazila, local residents and officials from various departments of the upazila administration were present in this meeting.
Later, former UNO of Tanor Upazila and currently Joint Secretary of the Technical and Madrasa Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Muhammad Muniruzzaman Bhuiyan visited Al Madrasatul Islahiya and Tanor Municipality School and College in Tanor Municipality. During this time, he was accompanied by teachers of the concerned institutions and representatives of the local civil society.
