Jamiyat Ulama-e-Hind is one of the leading organizations of Deobandi scholars in India. It is also the largest and oldest organization of Indian Muslims.
Jamiyat Ulama-e-Hind is an influential Islamic organization, which was founded in February 1919 by scholars including Abdul Bari Firingi Mohalla, Kefayatullah Dehlavi, Ahmad Saeed Dehlavi and others. It is a leading organization of scholars belonging to the Deobandi school of thought. The organization is known as a traditional, patriotic and charitable organization and has a glorious history. Shaikhul Hind Maulana Mahmudul Hasan was its founder president. This organization played an important role in the Indian freedom struggle and has a glorious history of courage and sacrifice.
Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is working to protect the structure of the country. It is a century-old non-political organization. And to further strengthen their organization, a workers’ meeting was held on Friday evening at a complex in Notunhat Nirapora Mor of Bakultala Police Station of Jaynagar Vidhan Sabha.
The main purpose of this meeting was to protest against the inhumane atrocities being committed by the central government against the Muslim community and the Bengalis, so that the glorious honor of the Muslim community and the Bengali nation is not compromised. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has called on the people of the community to rise up in protest against this great initiative of Mufti Amirali Mahasoy. Seeing this great initiative of Mufti Amirali Mahasoy, Maulana, Mufti, Qari, and common people from different places attended this event in large numbers and the common people including scholars and ulama have appreciated Mufti Amirali Mahasoy for such social service work.
Present were Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, Delhi, All India Vice President Mr. Hazrat Maulana Syed Asjad Madani Sahib, Mr. Maulana Mufti Shihabuddin Sahib, Mr. Maulana Qari Shyamsuddin Ahmad Qasemi and Ali, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind South 24 Parganas District Vice President Mufti Amirali Mal, Maulana Abul Qasem Rasuli, Meherul Islam and many others.
This day’s workers’ meeting shed light on how to strengthen the organization. In this regard, Mufti Amirali Mal, District Vice President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, said that the central government has been bringing one bill after another since 2014 to take away the rights of minorities. Recently, in the name of SR, they are trying to displace the people of our Muslim community.
We strongly oppose this. We will not accept any attack on our religion. The outline of the future program was prepared from this day’s program. People of many religions and Muslim communities from different parts of the district were present in this meeting today.
