A lively and extensive workers and workers’ rally was held at the initiative of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Udaypur Union Branch. The rally was held at 3 pm on Friday (October 11) at the joint initiative of Jamaat 1, 2 and 3 Wards of Moslemganj Bazar Union in Kalai Upazila.
The program was presided over by Ward 3 Jamaat President Md. Yusuf Molla. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Joypurhat District Branch Assistant Secretary and Jamaat-nominated Member of Parliament candidate from Joypurhat-2 constituency S. M. Rashedul Alam Sabuj was present as the chief guest.
In his speech as the chief guest, S. M. Rashedul Alam Sabuj said, “We want to build a just, fair and corruption-free happy and prosperous Bangladesh. In a country where rapists, murderers, looters and corrupt people will have no place. A wave of people has now been created across the country — people are saying, all parties are over, now it is Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh. This country will be of scholars and Quran-loving people.
Kalai Upazila Jamaat Naib-e-Amir Abdur Rouf, Upazila Jamaat Secretary Professor Abdul Alim and Upazila Baitulmal Secretary Md. Anwarul Islam spoke as special guests.
Udaipur Union Jamaat Amir Maulana Abdus Sobhan, Union Secretary Mazharul Islam, and other leaders at the union and ward levels also spoke.
The speakers at the rally said that the only way out of the country’s ongoing crisis is to establish a social system based on Islamic values. They urged everyone to join Jamaat-e-Islami and participate in the movement for justice and truth.
