Jamaat-e-Islami Meherpur Sadar Upazila Secretary and Amjhupi Union Parishad Chairman candidate Mr. Jabbarul Islam distributed food items among the Hindu community families of Amjhupi Union of Sadar Upazila on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at around 11 am.

Amjhupi Union Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Mohsin Ali, Amjhupi Radha Madhav Temple Autumn Puja Celebration Committee President Narayan Halder, General Secretary Chandan Kumar Biswas, Mangal Kumar Biswas, Chandbil Puja Celebration Committee President Shri Joydev Halder and local people were present at the event.

While distributing food, Jabbarul Islam said, "It is my responsibility to stand by people of all religions and castes, protecting communal harmony and serving people for the sake of people. I always want to keep myself engaged in serving people. Even though elections are coming up, my activities are only out of a sense of humanitarian responsibility."

The program was hosted by Azizul Islam, office secretary of Amjhupi Union Jamaat. Local dignitaries, political leaders and common people were present at the food distribution. The locals welcomed this initiative and the Hindu community and family prayed for Mr. Jabbarul Islam.
