International Disaster Reduction Day was celebrated in Dhamairhat, Naogaon. On Monday, October 13, at 11 am, the Upazila administration and project implementation disaster reduction management organized a rally from the Upazila premises to mark the International Disaster Reduction Day.

After the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila meeting room. The discussion meeting was moderated by Project Implementation Officer Mr. Mansur Ali and Upazila Executive Officer Shaharia Rahman spoke as the chief guest.

Present at the event were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jasmine Akhtar, Upazila Health Complex Family Planning Officer Dr. Ashiq Kumar Sarkar, OC Imam Zafar, Agriculture Officer Toufiq Al Zubair, Social Service Officer ATM Fasiul Alam, Public Health Deputy Assistant Engineer Milan Kumar, Information Officer Istika Afrin, Academy Supervisor Kajal Kumar, World Vision Dhamairhat Upazila AP Manager Manuel Hansda, Family Planning Officer Bedarul Islam, officials from various departments of the upazila, students from various educational institutions and journalists.
